The Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) duty is to advise the Board of Directors on all scientific matters including, but not limited to :

• selection of research projects,
• review of progress on ongoing projects and recommendations for disposition,
• assessment on the scientific relevance of competing technologies for the business of the company,
• definition of the ethical policies of the company.

The SAC members are recognized for their scientific and technical accomplishments and/or for their management of scientific and/or industrial organisations. Membership includes experts of academic institutions as well as representatives from industry and reflects a balance of expertise and viewpoints.
